Austin is responsible for managing the development process from strategic planning through the stabilization and asset management of a project. His responsibilities include: concept feasibility projections, coordinating all phases of development, overseeing construction manager, preparing and analyzing budgets and financial projections, assisting in the procurement of State and Federal grants, tax credit equity, conventional debt and equity, and working with property management to ensure long term success of stabilized projects.

In his free time, Austin enjoys skiing and playing golf. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Since his graduation from Indiana University, Austin has been involved in the development of mixed income and market rate communities at Flaherty & Collins Properties. Austin is part of a team that has raised millions of debt, equity and grant solutions to finance projects. He has experience with government programs such as Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HUD 221 (d) 4 and HUD 223 (f), HOME and CDBG. During his 4 years at Flaherty & Collins Austin has participated in the development of over 1,000 multi-family units.
