306 Riverfront District was named “2019 Downtown Champion” by the Greater Kokomo Downtown Creative Placemaking Council, a division of the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance. The award is presented in recognition of significant contribution to the revitalization of downtown Kokomo. 306 Riverfront District, the former Apperson Brothers factory, into a 200 unit-luxury apartment community has transformed the face of downtown, attracted new residents and created a community hub in the heart of Kokomo. In addition, the project supported the public art scene by hosting a sculpture display and the exhibit opening for the Kokomo Sculpture Walk.
