Evansville RAD

A partnership with the Evansville Housing Authority, the EHA RAD is a 559-unit public housing development that included five properties (Buckner Tower, Caldwell Homes, Kennedy Tower and Schnute) totaling the 559 units – four midrise buildings and one garden community – and entailed relocating 450 residents during the construction process.

Geothermal heating and cooling was installed at the project to help reduce energy costs. The project was financed using 4% credits, bonds, an energy credit (earned by installing the geothermal system), and HOME funds.
