Anticipated Groundbreaking: Mid-2019
Flaherty & Collins Properties was selected by the City of Valparaiso in May 2018 to negotiate and develop a proposed $120 million mixed-use, transit-oriented project that will include over 500 apartments and 12,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space at the site of the former Anco factory. Journeyman Distillery, based out of Three Oaks, Michigan, will serve as the anchor tenant.
As part of the construction, Journeyman would rehab a nearly 130,000 square foot office building.
The project also includes 25,000 square feet of commercial office space.
The project is expected to break ground in late spring or early summer 2019.
