Flaherty & Collins Properties’ Brian Prince Appointed to Urban Land Institute Public/Private Partnership Council

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Flaherty & Collins Properties is pleased to announce that Brian Prince, Vice President of Development, has been appointed to the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Public/Private Partnership Council (PPPC).

“We’re honored to have Brian be a part of the PPPC and work with others in our industry to help develop and refine best practices for effective real estate public / private partnerships,” says David Flaherty, CEO of Flaherty & Collins Properties. “We specialize in public / private partnerships throughout the country, so having Brian be a part of this group will be a tremendous asset.”

Prince, who began his career with F&C four years ago, earned his J.D. from Indiana University in 2015. He has several projects under construction, including The Stonewater at the Riverwalk in Elkhart, Indiana, a 200-unit, mixed-use market rate development, and The Mill at Ironworks Plaza, a 232-unit, mixed-use, market rate development in Mishawaka, Indiana. Both projects are public / private partnerships and are in progress to be completed in mid-2019.

Additionally, Prince also has several other projects under development in Valparaiso, Indiana, Warren, Michigan and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

“It’s an honor to be appointed to the PPPC council by ULI, and I look forward to working with other council members to further study public / private partnerships, emerging trends and improving outcomes for both public and private sectors.”

The ULI Public/Private Partnership Council examines industry practices, financing strategies (both traditional and unique), negotiations, challenging projects, motivations, building and maintaining trust and incorporating additional partners into public/private partnerships.

Prince’s council term will last five years.
