ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) – Over 200 new apartments are coming to Elkhart.
The luxury apartment complex will feature a coffee lounge, bike shop, 24-hour fitness center, plus a court-yard where people can grill out. Tenants don’t need to fly to the Atlantic or Pacific to swim: they’ll have a salt-water pool.
Even if you’re not in the market for a new place to live, Brian Prince, vice president of development, says everyone in Elkhart stands to gain.
“By putting more bodies downtown with more disposable income,” he said, “that’s going to allow a lot of these business owners to either open up additional business or increase your business, so your retail and your nightlife entertainment options are going to change.”
The developer says all the apartments will be finished by spring of 2019.
