Benefits

Medical Insurance

Full time employees are eligible for medical insurance on their 91st day of employment. Employee is responsible for a portion of the premium. Deductions will be made from first two payrolls of each month. Plan uses Anthem.

Dental Insurance - PPO Network

Full time employees are eligible for coverage on their 91st day of employment. Employee is responsible for the full premium amount. Deductions will be made from each paycheck.

Type 1 Diagnostic & Preventative provides coverage up to 100%.

Type II Basic Service covers up to 80% providing coverage for such services as fillings and sealants.

Type III Major Services covers up to 50% with a 12 month waitingperiod for such services as crowns and root canals.

Out-of-network coverage is the same with additional responsibility of costs exceeding reasonable and customary.

Vision

Full time employees are eligible for vision insurance the first day of the month following completion of 91st day of employment. Employee is responsible for the full premium amount. Deductions will be made from each paycheck. Coverage includes entitled to an annual eye exam, and $130 towards frames or contact lenses after all applicable copays.

401(k)

Full time employees are eligible to contribute to the 401(k) plan on the first entry up date following completion of 6 months of employment. Entry dates are January, April, July and October. Flaherty & Collins Properties contributes a matching amount of 50% on the first 6% contributed by the employee.

Holidays

Full time employees receive 8 ½ paid holidays per year. See the Employee Policy Manual for the complete of paid holidays.

Vacation

Full time employees will receive 40 hours of vacation time upon completion of six months of employment and 80 hours upon completion of 1 year. No Vacation hours will be carried over or paid out. See Employee Policy Manual for available Vacation Hours based upon length of service.

Sick Time

Full time employees will receive 16 hours of Sick Time for the first six months of employment and 24 hours after 6 months to the completion of 1 year of employment. After one year of full-time employment you will receive forty hours of Sick Time. No Sick Time will be carried over or paid out.

Bereavement

Flaherty & Collins Properties will pay up to three days of leave due to a death of a family member; spouse, father, mother, children, brother, sister and grandparents of the employee or employee’s spouse.

Flaherty & Collins Properties offers Anthem Life, short-term and long-term insurance.

Life Assurance

An employee may choose between $12,500 and $100,000 of coverage. Premiums will vary per coverage level and age. Coverage is also available for spouse & children.
