In 1993, David Flaherty and Jerry Collins turned a shared vision and belief in real estate’s power to create something lasting into the foundation of Flaherty & Collins Properties. What began as a small operation has grown into a nationally recognized real estate company. Still, the principles that shaped F&C from the beginning remain at its core: entrepreneurial thinking, strong relationships, and a commitment to creating communities where people can live, work, and thrive.
David and Jerry brought complementary strengths to the company from day one. David’s vision for development and Jerry’s expertise in property management and operations created a partnership that helped define the F&C approach: looking at real estate not simply as buildings and investments, but as opportunities to strengthen communities and create long-term value. Their legacy lives on in the people, properties, and partnerships that continue to shape F&C today.
