Spoon Kitchen & Market to Open Summer 2019 at RiverHaus

COVINGTON, KY – Flaherty & Collins Properties and Bouquet Restaurant have announced Spoon: Kitchen & Market, a fast-casual sister restaurant to Bouquet, will open this Summer at RiverHaus, a $50 million mixed-use, luxury residential apartment development located in the heart of historic Mainstrasse Village in Covington.

“We are proud to announce Spoon as a part of RiverHaus,” says Chef Stephen Williams and Jessica Williams, owners of Bouquet and Spoon. “We hope to provide a bright, welcoming and relaxed environment, where neighborhood residents can meet to work or unwind. You can expect the same commitment to hospitality and sustainability that has made Bouquet a prominent fixture of the local food scene for 11 years.”

Spoon: Kitchen & Market will occupy retail space on the first floor at RiverHaus and will offer a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, fresh pressed juices and smoothies, locally sourced groceries, beer and wine by the glass, in addition to retail bottles, affordable breakfast and lunch options, a large selection of cheese and charcuterie, as well as ample space for conference or private events.

“We are excited about the new addition to the menu of Mainstrasse eating establishments,” says Tom West, Economic Development Director for the City of Covington. “We are equally excited that Spoon is another enterprise of an existing successful Covington restaurateur.”

RiverHaus will also open this summer, with preleasing to begin this Spring. The project consists of 192 luxury market rate apartment homes and 3,100 square feet of retail – all of which is filled by Spoon. Comprised of studios, one and two-bedroom apartment homes, the development boasts the finest amenities in the Northern Kentucky market.

“We are very excited to welcome Spoon to RiverHaus this Summer and believe it will be a great addition for the residents of RiverHaus and Covington,” says Deron Kintner, general counsel and lead project developer for Flaherty & Collins Properties.

Residents will enjoy nearly 20,000 square feet of amenities, including an amenity courtyard, featuring fire pits, bar, lounge areas, grilling station, and saltwater pool with a large wet deck. A sky deck will give residents views of the Covington and Cincinnati skyline. Interior features include a coffee lounge, club room, pet wash, bike storage and repair, gaming and media lounge and 24-hour fitness center featuring Fitness OnDemand®. The project includes a guest suite and concierge services.

Apartments will include polished quartz kitchen countertops, cultured marble vanity tops with integral sinks, tile backsplash in kitchen, stainless steel appliances, undermount sinks, LED lighting in entries, kitchens, bathrooms and closets.
