Flaherty & Collins Construction Ranks High on IBJ Construction Lists

Flaherty & Collins Properties Construction earned distinction this week, as the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) released their 2015 Largest Indianapolis-Area Ongoing Construction Projects and Largest Indianapolis-Area Construction Contractors.

Flaherty & Collins Construction ranks No. 14 in Largest Indianapolis-Area Construction Contractors, while also holding Nos. 6 (360 Market Square), 7 (Axis) and 22 (The Depot at Nickel Plate) on the Largest Indianapolis-Area Ongoing Construction Projects.

Flaherty & Collins Properties was the highest-rated multifamily on the construction projects list and no other multifamily developer and construction contractor rated more than one project, while Flaherty & Collins holds three of the top 22 spots.

360 Market Square, a 28-story, mixed-use residential tower, broke ground earlier this month. At nearly 300 feet tall, will feature a 40,000 square foot Whole Foods Market®.  The development consists of 292 luxury one, two and three-bedroom apartment residences.  The project, at 648,561 square feet, will have an additional 2,000 square feet of retail space and a 600-space parking garage.

Axis, located at 401 N. Senate Ave in downtown Indianapolis, is a mixed-use development featuring a 42,000 square foot urban Marsh and 37,000 square feet of combined interior and exterior play space, including a Sky Bar with city views.

The Depot at Nickel Plate, located on 116th Street and Municipal Drive in Fishers, is a mixed-use development featuring the newly opened Brixx Wood-Fired Pizza and Dottie Couture boutique in its nearly 17,000 square feet of retail space. Residents of The Depot at Nickel Plate enjoy incomparable amenities, including a health club with Fitness OnDemand and a Pilates studio, screening lounge, cyber cafe, gaming lounge, a pet wash, secured bike storage, with a bike wash and repair shop to complement the new Fishers Bike Share program.
