Flaherty & Collins, a leader in multifamily development and property investment, is pleased to announce the formal establishment of its Acquisitions Division. Effective immediately, Chris Reckley has joined the firm as Vice President of Acquisitions, to lead and scale this newly created business line in support of the company’s strategic growth initiatives.

In his role, Reckley will build and oversee Flaherty & Collins’ Acquisitions Division, identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities across markets. He will work closely with the executive team to drive portfolio expansion, strengthen Flaherty & Collins’ presence in both existing and emerging geographies, and optimize investment returns in a dynamic market environment.
“Launching the Acquisitions Division marks a significant milestone in our evolution,” said Robert Flaherty, CEO of Flaherty & Collins. “Chris brings deep industry experience, proven deal execution skills, and strategic insight that will be instrumental as we accelerate growth and broaden our footprint. We are delighted to have him lead this division at such a pivotal time.”
Chris Reckley joins Flaherty & Collins with more than 10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions and investment. Most recently, he served as Director of Acquisitions at Dietz Property Group, where he led acquisition strategies across multifamily and mixed-use properties, managing deal flows, structuring transactions, and sourcing capital. His expertise spans underwriting, due diligence, negotiations, and building investor networks.
“I’m excited to be part of Flaherty & Collins’ next chapter,” said Reckley. “The opportunity to lead dedicated acquisitions campaigns and help guide growth across markets is one I welcomed. Flaherty & Collins has built a strong foundation, and I believe there’s immense potential to further scale, deliver value to investors, and forge new partnerships.”
The firm’s core operations continue to include property investment, development, construction, and asset management. With Reckley leading acquisitions, Flaherty & Collins aims to accelerate its portfolio growth over the coming years, identifying high-quality assets and leveraging its operational strengths to drive performance.
