Tinker Coffee Coming to 360 Market Square

Tinker Coffee has announced it will be opening a new location this spring at 360 Market Square in downtown Indianapolis.

“We’re thrilled to launch this new location in the heart of downtown Indianapolis,” said Jeff Johnson, co-founder of Tinker Coffee.

The 360 Market Square location will be Tinker’s fourth café, but its first standalone offering. Tinker currently has two cafes in the Indianapolis International Airport and another in the AMP food hall at the 16 Tech district.

The new downtown location will be open seven days a week and aims to showcase Tinker’s dedication to coffee through their menu. Not only will you be able to find Tinker classics, including a rotation of drip selections and made-in-house specialty drinks, they are also expanding the coffee menu with coffee flights, pour overs, and carefully dialed in selections on the Ground Control brewer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tinker Coffee to 360 Market Square,” said Jim Crossin, Vice President of Development for Flaherty & Collins Properties, developer of 360 Market Square. “Tinker is the perfect addition to the location and our residents and neighbors will be thrilled to have them open.”

“Customers will be able to grab a seat at the bar to watch the coffee show and talk shop with passionate baristas, cozy up in a soft chair along a wall of windows or grab a table outside on the patio. Convenient free parking is available in the attached garage shared with Whole Foods.” says Johnson

Tinker Coffee has been roasting coffee in Indianapolis since 2014, and originally opened as a coffee roaster retailer and wholesaler. Since then, they have expanded to a full service coffee company with coffee equipment and tech services, coffee catering and cafes.

“Tinker is deepening its roots in Indianapolis by opening this café,” added Johnson. “We hope to serve customers with the high quality coffee offerings they have come to expect from Tinker, classic American food and focus on hospitality.”

Libby Baert is Tinker’s cafe manager at The AMP and will also manage the 360 Market Square location. Tinker will begin reaching out to potential new hires in March.
