The Taylor

The Taylor is a $41 million mixed-use development that serves as a modern centerpiece for downtown Columbus, Indiana. Created through a partnership with the City of Columbus and the Columbus Redevelopment Commission, the project introduces 200 luxury apartments and 400 parking spaces to the urban core. A vital component of the development is the dedicated 10,000 square feet of retail space designed for a future grocer, fulfilling a long-standing community need for accessible downtown amenities.

“The addition of The Taylor to downtown Columbus is something our community has been seeking for many years,” said Mayor Jim Lienhoop. “We are very excited to see this project take its next steps toward reality and the amenities it will bring to both our downtown and the community.”

The individual apartment homes feature contemporary designs with high-end finishes tailored to a sophisticated lifestyle. Each residence is equipped with luxury wood tile vinyl flooring, quartz countertops, and energy-efficient LED lighting. For added convenience, every unit includes a private balcony and an in-unit washer and dryer. With a focus on studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts, the community is designed to attract a diverse demographic, including young professionals and empty nesters seeking an upscale, maintenance-free residential experience.

The Taylor offers an extensive array of resort-style amenities that promote wellness, social engagement, and convenience. Residents have access to a community lounge with a full kitchen, a tech lounge, and a 24-hour fitness center featuring on-demand classes.
