MISHAWAKA, IN – Flaherty & Collins Properties (F&C) has announced that Social Cantina will occupy the south end cap retail space – 4,800 square feet – at The Mill at Ironworks Plaza in downtown Mishawaka.
Social Cantina is a Modern Mexican restaurant with an industrial-chic vibe serving 150+ tequilas, fresh margaritas, craft beer and delivers a spin on classic Mexican dishes.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to expand our Social Cantina brand in Mishawaka and to be a part of this exciting development,” said Chris Martin, Vice President of Operations for Finney Hospitality Group, which owns Social Cantina. “Our brand is very vibrant and welcoming, and our food is fresh and flavorful with a very broad appeal. Our bar features an extensive selection of tequilas, and we utilize fresh juices in all our house made margaritas. Just as important, we are excited to become part of the Downtown Mishawaka business community and to be a part of Mishawaka as an employer. We are confident our brand will be a great addition to The Mill.”
The Mill at Ironworks Plaza, completed in 2019, is a mixed-use development that includes 232 luxury apartment homes with 13,000 square feet of retail space. Earlier this year, Sun King announced plans for a 6,700-foot, family-friendly tap room on the northeastern side of The Mill at Ironworks Plaza and will officially open in mid-July.

Social Cantina plans to open in early December.
Plans are also finalizing on a second phase of The Mill at Ironworks Plaza that will include 230 more luxury apartments and river front retail. Construction on phase two is anticipated to begin Spring 2023.
