“The Granary” transforms historic flour mill site into 223 luxury apartments, retail space, trailhead amenities, and public parking.
The City of Noblesville and Flaherty & Collins Properties officially broke ground today on The Granary, a $64 million mixed-use project along the Pleasant Street corridor. Spanning approximately three acres at the southern edge of downtown Noblesville, the development replaces the former Noblesville Milling Co. site—the historic source of Noblesville Schools’ “Millers” nickname—with modern housing, commercial retail, and key community infrastructure. Construction is scheduled for completion by late 2028.

- Residential & Retail: A four-story building featuring 223 luxury apartment homes and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial retail space.
- Parking & Mobility: Approximately 300 structured parking spaces available to both residents and the public.
- Trailhead Connectivity: A dedicated trailhead on the southern portion of the site linking the Midland Trace, Nickel Plate, and Riverwalk trails, complete with public restrooms and lockers.
- Historic Preservation: Architectural design that blends elements of the city’s early-1900s milling heritage with modern aesthetics to serve as a gateway into downtown.
- Resident Amenities: A saltwater pool and aqua lounge, co-working areas, fitness center, outdoor grilling kitchens, game room, pet spa, bike shop/storage, and a resident clubhouse.
During the ceremony, Deron Kintner, Principal & Special Advisor at Flaherty & Collins Properties, also announced a $10,000 donation from the firm to the Noblesville Township Trustee’s office to support local flood relief efforts.
Catalyzing the Pleasant Street Corridor
The Granary serves as the first major private development anchor for “Reimagine Pleasant Street,” the city’s multi-year infrastructure project designed to improve east-west mobility, pedestrian safety, and regional trail integration across Hamilton County.
