Flaherty & Collins Properties Celebrates Grand Opening of The Marquee at Cedar Lee in Cleveland Heights, Ohio

206-apartment mixed-use development brings new homes, resident amenities, and commercial opportunities to the Cedar Lee District.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio, Oct. 22, 2026 — Flaherty & Collins Properties (F&C), a full-service multifamily developer, builder, property manager and investor, celebrated the grand opening of The Marquee at Cedar Lee on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together community leaders and project partners to mark the completion of the mixed-use development in the heart of the Cedar Lee District.

City and community members joined the development team in cutting the ribbon on The Marquee at Cedar Lee.

Located near Cedar and Lee roads, The Marquee at Cedar Lee features 206 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes and approximately 8,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The community also includes a shared parking garage and amenities designed to enhance residents’ everyday experiences, including a resort-style saltwater pool, outdoor courtyard with fire pits and grilling stations, outdoor sky lounge, fitness center, yoga studio, co-working spaces, pet spa and bark park.

“The Marquee is a great example of what can happen when a community and development partner share a vision for the future,” said Deron Kintner, Vice President of Development and Special Advisor for Flaherty & Collins Properties and lead project developer, in comments reported by NEOtrans. “Our partnership with the City of Cleveland Heights has been instrumental in bringing this project to life, and we’re proud to celebrate this milestone together.”

The project represents a significant milestone for the Cedar Lee District, adding new housing options and commercial opportunities while supporting the area’s continued evolution as a destination for arts, dining, entertainment and neighborhood living. After a major fire damaged the development’s second phase in January 2025, Flaherty & Collins worked with the City of Cleveland Heights and project partners to move forward with reconstruction, with work resuming in July 2025. The Marquee at Cedar Lee is the second major development Flaherty & Collins has completed in partnership with the city, following The Ascent at Top of the Hill in the Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood.
