Flaherty & Collins Properties Gives Back to Indianapolis-Area Youth Groups

In late September, over 250 of Flaherty & Collins Properties 450-plus employees descended upon the JW Marriott in Downtown Indianapolis for the Flaherty & Collins Properties 2016 Company Wide Event.

Highlighting the event was a group activity, a Charity Bike Build, where employees teamed up to build 40 bikes that were donated later in the day to Boys & Girls Club organizations in Indianapolis and Noblesville, as well as Pathway on the Far East side of Indianapolis.

“These bikes will make a huge impact in our community,” said Becky Terry, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville. “We could not make the impact we do without the tremendous support of Flaherty & Collins Properties.”

Other events of the day included guest motivational speaker Anne Grady and another team building event – a scavenger hunt, that sent teams throughout White River State Park in search of historical items and landmarks. The events were organized by Aggie Woods, Regional Property Manager for F&C and Kristin Quinn, Vice President of Property & Asset Management.

“A lot of what we do is about buildings and projects and providing tremendous customer service to our residents,” said Flaherty & Collins Properties Marketing & Communications Director Brian Moore. “But at the heart of who we are is a company who cares about where we live, work and play.”

Flaherty & Collins Properties co-founder and CEO David Flaherty agrees.

“We invest in our team members, because we know that together, we can work through any problems or situations that can arise and find solutions to get the job done,” said Flaherty. “We really try and emphasize how important that developing relationships, building communities and managing partnerships is.”

Flaherty & Collins Properties typically holds a large company event every three years, but works throughout the year on special events partnering with local organizations on community outreach.

As announced earlier in the year, Flaherty & Collins Properties is moving it’s corporate office to downtown Indianapolis and will occupy office space in the Regions Tower, just a few blocks from where the breathtaking 28-story 360 Market Square will rise.
