The Depot features over 17,000 square feet of street front retail in downtown Fishers, at 116th St. and Municipal Dr. Flaherty & Collins Properties CEO David Flaherty called the project is a “key component of the transformation of downtown Fishers.”
One of the main goals of the redevelopment of the area, Flaherty added, is to create a walkable, urban environment. The property already has a Walk Score of 74, or “Very Walkable,” and that will probably improve as other kinds of growth occurs in the vicinity. As a participant in Fishers Bike Share program, the property features secured bike storage, with a bike wash and repair shop.
A number of retail shops in the property have already been occupied. Five tenants—the Dottie Couture boutique, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, Yogurtz, Flamme Burger and Salon Seven — will occupy nearly 10,800 square feet, all of which will open this year. Currently, only about 6,250 square feet of retail space remains.
